MORE INFORMATION

  • Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) was released on "Star Wars Day" May the 4th, 2016 at Disney Stores
  • Unfortunately, Disney opted to simply repaint their existing Boba Fett figure instead taking the opportunity to give fans an accurate representation of the Boba Fett prototype costume
  • There are a lot of differences between the actual Boba Fett and the Boba Fett prototype costume, StarWars.com has the Meet Boba Fett video on their website, where you can see the costume in more detail, we recommend you watch it to learn about Boba's history and to see what the actual costume looked like
  • The prototype costume didn't have pouches go across the entire front of the belt, like it is the case on this Boba Fett figure
  • There are no Wookiee braids on the prototype armor, but they are on this figure
  • The rocket looks quite different on the prototype armor, with several spikes on the top (this is not reflected in this sculpt)
  • The gauntlet on the left forearm looks very different on Boba Fett's prototype armor than what is seen on the figure
  • The Boba Fett prototype armor used a STAR WARS beach towel instead of an actual cape (again, not the case here)
  • The black holster on the right side of the hip is entirely missing on the Disney Elite Die Cast version
  • Both blasters, which were designed for the Boba Fett prototype armor, were very different than what Disney included with the figure
  • The cape, the helmet and the backpack are not removable on this figure
  • We experienced no balancing problems and the figure fit well onto its included display stand
  • All in all, this Disney Elite Series Boba Fett Prototype figure looks great on display, but it's entirely inaccurate when compared to the actual costume
