• BB-8 was released on September 4th, 2015 at Disney Stores packed-in together with Disney Elite Series Rey
• The very same figure was later in the same year re-released by Disney (BB-8 with Rey (with lightsaber))
• There are no panels on the figure which can be opened
• The dome can be rotated 360 degrees
• The antennas on the dome can't be removed
• Disney stayed true to the look of BB-8 and made the body a ball (this makes it tricky to display, because it likes to roll off)
• The figure was painted well, the off-white together with subtle weathering looks nice and the orange and silver markings match the on-screen counterpart
