This Anakin Skywalker in Peasant Disguise was released individually carded in the Vintage Collection in late January 2011. Anakin in Peasant Disguise can be seen in Attack Of The Clones while traveling to Naboo, and while Padme is speaking with the queen and her delegates.
Anakin is super articulated with 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, a swivel waist, 2 swivel hips, 2 ball-jointed knees and 2 ball-jointed ankles. The figure stands without any problems by itself even in more dynamic poses. There were two lightsabers included with the figure, one with an ignited blue blade, and one non-ignited hilt. Both weapons fit perfectly into the figure's hands. The non-ignited hilt can also be plugged into a hole on Anakin's belt, where it stays firmly attached. The soft-goods robe is removable and all around fantastic. Not only does it look great, but it also doesn't come across as overly bulky. It's also easy to pull it over Anakin's head.
The paint application on Anakin Skywalker in Peasant Disguise is done very well, especially the upper body and the face are painted nicely. The color tone on the soft-goods robe looks fantastic as well, but unfortunately it's not weathered and dirtied up as seen in the movie. Hasbro also forgot to paint the jedi padawan braid with the red and blue markings. The 14 joint, super articulated sculpt is brilliant, not only does it hide the joints beautifully, but it also captures Hayden Christensen's likeness very well. All things considered, this version of Anakin Skywalker in Peasant Disguise is the best available yet as of this review.
This very same figure, but with a different poncho and an updated portrait was released in 2021, have a look here: Anakin Skywalker (Peasant Disguise).
