MORE INFORMATION

Holographic Darth Vader was released individually carded during The Anniversary Collection in 2007. Darth Vader appears briefly as a holgram in The Empire Strikes Back during the Battle Of Hoth.

The figure is based on the Power Of The Jedi Darth Vader "Emperor's Wrath" figure from 2001. Vader features 8 points of articulation, including a swivel head, 2 swivel arms, a swivel joint in the upper right arm, a right swivel wrist, a swivel waist and 2 swivel legs. The figure leans to the left in an action oriented pose, but it manages to keep the balance quite well without a stand. The plastic cloak attaches easily around the neck and Darth Vader can hold the included lightsaber tightly in both hands.

The light blue, see-through appearance of the Holographic Darth Vader looks great. The figure is sculpted nicely, but the action oriented pose doesn't make much sense for a holographic Vader. The figure could have been so much better, if the pose would have been more neutral. However, it's still a decent figure and a good addition to the line-up of holographic figures.
