MORE INFORMATION

This Han Solo figure is based on the scene in The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo gets tortured by Darth Vader. The figure was released during the 30th Anniversary Collection in 2007 and was easy to come by on store shelves. Hasbro usually doesn't give action figures extreme facial expressions but they made an exception this time. The facial expression captures the pain Han Solo had to endure while being tortured pretty well. Han Solo is super articulated, including a ball-jointed waist. There were no weapons included with this figure, but Hasbro included the torture rack, one of the biggest accessories ever packed in with an individually carded figure. The accessory itself justifies shelling out the price for this figure already since it makes a cool looking piece which will look great on display with any other Bespin figures. Han Solo fits nicely into the torture rack, the 3 straps are permanently attached on the right side, but can be opened and closed on the left. Hasbro did a great job on some of the details, one of them being Han's shirt, which looks like it was pulled out of his pants. Overall, this is a great figure which is clearly aimed at collectors.

PACKAGING TEXT

Han and his friends go to Bespin to escape the Empire, but Han's friend Lando turns them over to their enemy, Darth Vader. Strapped to a rack, Han is tortured with no idea why, telling Leia after wards, "They never even asked me any questions."
