BB-8 Variation (The Black Series)

There was a variation for the single boxed Black Series 6" Rey with BB-8 figure. The first released figures had an overall lighter appearance and Rey's mouth had a much smaller painted area. The first released BB-8 figure was much cleaner than the later released version. This revised paint application was confirmed by Steve Evans who at the time was the Design Director for Star Wars toys at Hasbro on January 10, 2016 via his Instagram account.
