Everybody LOVES the Mandalorian on Disney+, and with the show being set only five years after the Return Of The Jedi, we've also seen many familiar characters from the Original Trilogy appear in the series. This raised the question of how many characters we might already have in our collections which could be used for a Mandalorian display. Let's start with the obvious ones first.
The figures which are currently available (August 2020) through a variety of online stores, including Entertainment Earth, include the remnant Stormtrooper, Cara Dune, the Mandalorian and the Klatooinian Raider from The Vintage Collection.
Left to right: Klatoonian Raider, Cara Dune, Mandalorian, Remnant Stormtrooper
You can also currently get the Imperial Troop Transport which was seen in episode 7 of the first season, along with the AT-ST from episode 4 of season one. You can find out more about each vehicle here: Vintage Collection Imperial Troop Transport and here: Vintage Collection AT-ST Raider.
Season 1 of the Mandalorian also featured following characters: Imperial Death Troopers (Episode 7), Biker Scouts (Episode 7 + 8), Tusken Raiders (Episode 5), Kowakian Monkey Lizards (Episode 1), R1-G4 Droids (Episode 6) and EV-9D9 (Episode 5). As you can see below, Hasbro has already made those characters in 3 3/4", and many of them are nicely articulated, and some of them can be obtained rather affordably on the secondary market. Here is a breakdown of all the figures shown below:
Top row: Biker Scout, Imperial Death Trooper, R1-G4
Bottom row: Tusken Raider, Salacious B. Crumb, EV-9D9
Season 1 also had following characters in it: Mouse Droids (Episode 6), R5-D4 (Episode 5), Death Star Droids (Episode 7), Jawas (several episodes), an Incinerator Stormtrooper (Episode 7), a Treadwell Droid (Episode 5) and Pit Droids (Episode 5). Here is the breakdown and where you can learn more about each figure:
Top row: Death Star Droid, R5-D4, Jawa (yellow eyes)
Bottom row: Incinerator Stormtrooper, Treadwell Droid, Pit Droid, MSE Droid
And that's it, hopefully this list gives you inspiration to add some of those figures to your collection and build out your Mandalorian displays! Were there other characters in the show which were already made as 3 3/4" figures? If so, post in the comments please!
