Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was released in a 2005 Walmart exclusive 3-pack, which featured cartoon-style figures of Anakin, Saesee Tiin and a Clone Trooper. The set was released to commemorate the DVD release of the Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon series on DVD. The figure is based on Anakin's appearance towards the end of the series, where his upper body was tattooed.

Both arms, including the mechanical forearm, and from the waist down, the figure shares the same sculpt as the previously released cartoon-style Anakin Skywalker figure. The upper torso, the head sculpt and the paint app are new. Anakin Skywalker has 5 joints, including a swivel neck, two swivel arms, a right swivel elbow and a swivel waist. The only weapon included was Anakin Skywalker's blue lightsaber, which fits very well into both hands.

The paint application is well applied, but the tattoos on Anakin Skywalker's upper body and the scar in his face don't match the TV show too closely. It looks great nonetheless though. At this point in Skywalker's life he is already a Jedi Knight, and to reflect that, Hasbro removed the hair braid from the head sculpt, plus they paid attention to include the scar and the longer hair.

Like with all the figures in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars series, this cartoon-style Anakin Skywalker figure is charming and turned out nicely.
