MORE INFORMATION

This Tusken Raider was released as a pack-in in 1998's Power Of The Force 2 Bantha Creature Set and was never available individually carded. The figure was released in times before ball jointed limbs were the standard in star wars figures. The Tusken's ammo bandolier and the belt are molded into the figure and can not be removed. The soft-goods skirt is tucked-in under the belt and can not be removed. In order to make it possible for the figure to sit on top of a Bantha, Hasbro molded the legs further apart from each other, and therefore it has a hard time standing by itself. Luckily the Tusken Raider was given peg holes in the bottom of both feet so he can be placed on a stand. Overall it's a pretty OK figure considering its age, but Hasbro has since released much better versions of this character. There is also nothing special going on in terms of the paint application, so you will not find any kind of sand or dirt on the Tusken Raider's clothes. But keeping in mind that the figure was designed to be sitting on a Bantha, it's not too bad of a figure.

PACKAGING TEXT

An immense, shaggy beast, the Bantha lumbers across the barren Tatooine landscape. Suddenly, the peaceful image is destroyed as its master, a vicious Tusken Raider, erupts in a violent ambush on farm boy Luke Skywalker. Known throughout the galaxy, Banthas are magnificent creatures that stand over four meters tall. The peace-loving herbivores are able to survive for weeks without food or water, making them the perfect pack animal for Tatooine's infamous Sand People. They also serve as beasts of burden for the planet's moisture farmers and are raised in some parts of the galaxy for food and clothing.
