MORE INFORMATION

  • Both included lightsabers fit well into the hands
  • The blaster fits well into both hands and quite tightly into the holster
  • The hat is not removable
  • The figure has no balancing issues - even in more dynamic poses
  • The non-ignited lightsaber hilt plugs nicely into a hole on the left side of the figure
  • Luke's removable collar plugs into a small hole in the back of Luke's neck
  • The goggles and the scarf are one piece - you need to pop the head off the figure and then move the goggles over the face (this works quite well)
  • The details on the outfit seem to be all there - including all the right pouches on the belt - the communicator on the left forearm and the "Commander" insignia on the chest
  • The paint application is well done on the entire figure - but Hasbro especially nailed the light brown and grey color tone of the outfit (maybe some "snow" on the legs and the scarf would have been nice)
  • Thanks to ball-jointed hips - Luke fits very well onto the TaunTaun - which was released separately as a Target exclusive for the 2011 holidays
  • Unfortunately - the shoulders look a little bit off as they seem to stick out a bit too far
  • Overall - as of 2012 - this version of Hoth Luke can be considered the best available "Hoth Luke" yet and is easily recommendable
  • This figure, but with an updated portrait, was re-released by Hasbro in the Vintage Collection in April 2021, have a look here: Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker (Hoth)
