MORE INFORMATION

Ralph McQuarrie, the mastermind behind the visualization of the original Star Wars movies, was honored by Hasbro during the 30th celebration of the original Star Wars movie. They've released an entire series of action figures based on concept sketches and designs by Mr. McQuarrie. This Yoda action figure was one of them. Yoda is an entirely new sculpt. The figure features 10 points of articulation, which is not an easy task to implement, considering the small size of this figure. Master Yoda has a soft-goods skirt, which can not be removed. The walking stick which came with Yoda fits perfectly into either hand, and the figure stands very securely by itself without the need of a stand. The paint application is done nicely as well, Yoda has some gray hair and different shades all over his green body. Overall, it's a nice figure, which is very close to how McQuarrie had originally envisioned the little green Jedi Master.

PACKAGING TEXT

In his sketches, concept artist Ralph McQuarrie evokes the graceful power of a ninja master or samurai warrior in his drawing of Obi-Wan. The diminutive Yoda appears leaner and more whimsical than he will ultimately appear in the films, yet he still exudes mystical strength.
