MORE INFORMATION

This Luke Skywalker action figure is based on Luke's appearance from the end of The Empire Strikes Back. Luke was released during The Legacy Collection in May of 2009. The figure has 14 joints, including a ball-jointed upper body. Luke came with a blue lightsaber (non-removable blade), a removable soft goods robe, and a medical tool. The saber fits nicely into Luke's left hand, but he can not hold the little medical tool that he came with, it's too small for the hand. The bathrobe fits very nicely, and once you tighten his belt, it doesn't look as bulky anymore. The unique thing about this figure is Luke's right arm, which features an open under arm with the mechanics revealed. The right fist is clenched, so he can not hold any weapons with it. One of the strengths of this figure is the head sculpt, which comes very close to what Mark Hamill looked like in the movie. Overall, it's hard to find anything to complain about this figure. Granted, it's not the most exciting Luke Skywalker action figure ever released, but considering that it's never been done before, and that it really does look like Luke in these final Empire scenes, it can easily be recommended.
