MORE INFORMATION

This specific Battle Droid is based on the Clone Wars movie scene where Anakin and Ahsoka storm the B'omarr Monk Monastery. The Battle Droid differs from the previously individually carded release in paint deco, under-arms, and accessories. The paint application gives the droid a damaged looked, which works nicely and looks overall good. Hasbro even gave the droid a damaged look under the removable communicator backpack. The bluish lightning effect is removable, so if you don't like it, or if you'd like to add it to some of your other Battle Droids you can do so. This time around, both legs are about the same length, and the figure stands more securely on it's own than the individually carded release. Due to the droid's petite physic though, you'll very likely need a stand if you don't want to pick the figure up every few moments (unless you keep it attached to the STAP speeder). Another change in comparison with the individually carded Battle Droid are the under arms. They now face down, so that the Battle Droid can grab the STAP speeder's handle bars instead of a blaster. Overall, this is a decent Battle Droid, but this is not a definitive version yet.

This Battle Droid was released in a Battlepack together with an Anakin Skywalker Figure.

PACKAGING TEXT

Jabba the Hutt's kidnapped son is being held in a B'omarr monastery built on top of a sheer cliff. Anakin begins the difficult ascent up the cliff with battle droids firing down on him, and droid-piloted STAP's racing into combat, laser cannons blasting. Casualties are mounting, so Anakin makes a daring move. He leaps into the air to take command of a STAP and dispatches battle droids with his lightsaber, clearing a path to the summit.
