MORE INFORMATION

  • In accordance with FTC guidelines we need to point out that this figure was provided for free by Hasbro for the JediBusiness.com database
  • The Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny Set was released exclusively at San Diego Comic Con 2019, International conventions and Hasbro Pulse
  • The Jedi Destiny Set included three Luke Skywalker figures
  • The other figures were Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight) and Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot)
  • Luke Skywalker (in Stormtrooper Disguise) came with a Stormtrooper helmet and a Stormtrooper blaster
  • The blaster fits very well into both of Luke's hands
  • The holster houses the blaster well (we wish it would fit a bit deeper without sticking you all that much) but it stays close to Luke's body which is great
  • The helmet looks outstanding and fits nicely over Luke's head
  • The all new belt has the grappling hook on the back (nice!) which Luke Skywalker used to swing across the chasm with Princess Leia (it's of course not removable)
  • Hasbro shortened the upper body so that Luke stands shorter than Han Solo, this is easier noticeable when the helmets are off, here is a comparison picture
  • Luke's face was given the photo real face printing treatment by Hasbro and it turned out nicely (it looks pixely in the close-up shots, but it looks great in person)
  • The paint application on the armor looks great, The figure has no balancing problems
  • All the details which we wanted to see in this figure are there, Hasbro used the latest face printing tech on the face, the holster works better than ever before, the belt has the grappling hook on the back together with the small communicator (not removable), the figure was shortened compared to Han Solo, the helmet looks great and it was painted very well
  • This 3.75" Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise can be considered the best available version of Luke in this outfit as of this review (August 2019), make sure you pick this one up, it's great and will likely be the best available version for years to come
  • This very same figure was re-released by Hasbro single carded in August of 2020, have a look here: Luke Skywalker Stormtrooper VC169

PACKAGING TEXT

Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny Set

The journey of the legendary Luke Skywalker began on Tatooine. A simple farmboy, Luke's life was forever changed when he discovered a distress call from the rebel Princess Leia. Luke infiltrated the Death Star, disguised as a Stormtrooper, to rescue the princess. He then joined the Rebellion and piloted an X-Wing into battle against the Empire. But the call of the Force was strong, and after training with Jedi Master Yoda, Luke realized his true power as a Jedi Knight.
