MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series 6" Luke Skywalker (Skywalker Strikes) action figure was first released in September 2019 at Berlin Comic Con in Germany
  • After its release it was sold at a variety of European conventions including Paris Comic Con in France and MCM London in England
  • In November 2019 the figure was made available in the United States through the fan channel and could be purchased at Hasbro Pulse online, Gamestop and ThinkGeek stores
  • The figure itself is a straight re-release of the single carded Luke Skywalker Yavin figure, but it came in different packaging and with different accessories
  • For this release Hasbro included Luke Skywalker's lightsaber hilt with a removable blade, a Force Deflect attachment for the lightsaber blade, a blast shield helmet, a Jedi Training remote with a display stand, a blaster, a container and a book
  • There was no Medal Of Yavin included
  • The blaster fits well into the holster and in Luke Skywalker's hands
  • The lightsaber blade can be detached from the hilt
  • The saber fits well into both of Luke Skywalker's hands
  • The Jedi Training Remote is attached to a plastic stick which needs to be plugged into the base, this works great
  • The ball-joint at the bottom lets you position the training ball differently
  • The container (suitcase?) can be opened and the included plastic book can be stored inside
  • The Blast Shield helmet is a good fit (it fits tightly, so pull it off carefully to not scratch the plastic on the head)
  • The jacket is removable, but the jacket's sleeves are sculpted and painted onto the arms, so taking it off doesn't make sense because Luke was still have the sleeves on
  • The photo real face printing tech on the face looks outstanding on this figure
  • The color tones on the pants and jacket match the on-screen costume well
  • The wrists have rocker-joints in them but because the sleeves go a little over the hand it's not possible to bend them much
  • The figure stands well on display without falling over
  • This release feels premium, granted it cost $10 more than the single boxed Luke Skywalker (Yavin) figure, but the extra contents and the great looking packaging make this a superior version in any way
