MORE C-3PO INFO

  • This C-3PO figure was released single carded in May 2020
  • The figure is a re-release of the 2010 C-3PO figure
  • Because of 10 years in-between production runs small paint differences are to be expected
  • There are four removable panels on the droid: the back panel, the face plate, the chest plate and the plate on the right thigh
  • All panels fit tightly onto the droid, they fit so well that it's impossible to tell that those are removable pieces (well done Hasbro!)
  • C-3PO's right lower leg can be detached from the body (in the Empire Strikes Back 3-PO's left leg was detached)
  • The figure reviewed here was painted well, especially the inner workings with plenty of visible cables looked good
  • C-3PO in the Empire Strikes Back looked beat up and dirty, a more rusty and worn look would have been nice to see on this figure
  • The protocol droid doesn't have any balancing issues
  • Side note: C-3PO doesn't have human eyes, he has a grid which covers the eye area, those details are not found on this figure
