This Anakin Skywalker figure was released single carded in The Vintage Collection in October 2020
The figure is a re-release of the Anakin Skywalker figure from 2012
This time however Hasbro updated the face with the photo real face printing technology to give Anakin a more life-like appearance
Here is a comparison picture of the 2012 and the 2020 next to each other, 2012 on the left, 2020 on the right
In 2012 this Anakin Skywalker figure marked the first realistic-style Clone Wars figure based on the Filoni Clone Wars TV show
Anakin Skywalker can hold both lightsabers well in his hands
The chest armor, the shoulder armor and the soft goods skirt are not removable
Anakin Skywalker stands very well on display without falling over
The head sculpt and the color tone on the clothes capture the look of the character from the TV show quite well
Unfortunately there is no place for the lightsaber hilt to be hung from the belt
The photo real update on the face is an improvement to the 8 year older figure
