MORE INFORMATION

  • This Princess Leia (Bespin Escape) figure was released single carded in March 2021 in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection
  • This Bespin Escape Leia figure is the first new interpretation of the character from the Bespin escape scenes in the Empire Strikes Back since the 2001 Power Of The Jedi Bespin Escape Leia figure
  • For this version Hasbro re-used parts of the TVC Leia Hoth figure from 2010, added a new head, removed the gloves and gave her new lower legs
  • Because Hasbro re-used parts from an older figure there are no ball-joints in the hips, no ball-jointed upper body, no swivel thighs or rocker wrists as seen on entirely new sculpts in 2021
  • Leia has the correct height and stands about a head shorter than a regular 3 3/4" figure
  • The only weapon included with Leia was an Imperial Stormtrooper blaster rifle which fits well into both hands
  • The right hand's index finger can be placed onto the weapon's trigger
  • There are no removable parts on the outfit
  • Leia's head sculpt and photo real portrait looks great
  • Hasbro even painted the Imperial blaster and gave it a weathered and used appearance which looks much nicer than just a plain black blaster
  • The figure fits nicely into any of the Vintage Collection Millennium Falcon cockpit chairs
  • Unfortunately the artwork on the packaging turned out too dark
  • All in all this version of Leia is a nice upgrade when compared to the 2001 POTJ Leia figure
