• This Black Series Luke Skywalker (Heir To The Empire) figure was released single boxed in March 2021
• The figure is a realistic interpretation of Luke Skywalker from the Timothy Zahn novel trilogy
• Luke Skywalker was packaged in a comic book inspired box which shows strips from the comic book adoptation of Heir To The Empire
• The figure is a repaint of the Black Series Luke Skywalker (Dagobah) figure
• Luke came with a lightsaber with removable blade and an Ysalamiri creature
• The figure is able to hold the lightsaber well in both hands
• The green blade can be detached from the hilt
• The Ysalamiri creature has no articulation and it can be placed around Admiral Thrawn's neck loosely
• The head sculpt and the photo real print on the face look good
• Unfortunately the figure doesn't match the comic book/novel source material well
• In the comic book strips on the packaging Luke is seen wearing a long black robe and he had a belt with pouches around the waist, both are accessories which are not included with this release
• The Zahn trilogy is set after the events in Return Of The Jedi, so why did Hasbro use a Luke Skywalker head from the Empire Strikes Back era and not the more appropriate and older looking Return Of The Jedi sculpt for this figure?
• It feels that this release could have been executed better with a bit more care and a slightly higher budget
