MORE INFORMATION

  • Clone Captain Rex was released single boxed in October 2021 exclusively at Walmart stores
  • For this figure Hasbro re-used the 2017 Black Series Captain Rex figure and gave him a different helmet, a different shoulder pauldron, a different paint application and they added a soft-goods poncho
  • The poncho looks great and fits perfectly onto the figure, it doesn't feel bulky, it was nicely painted and weathered
  • The helmet has a visor and a range-finder which can be moved up and down
  • The helmet fits over the head but unfortunately Captain Rex's chin will show underneath
  • Captain Rex came with two blasters which fit well into the hands (the right hand has the index finger extended which can be placed onto the trigger)
  • Both weapons fit well into the holsters
  • The belt and the soft-goods skirt are not removable
  • The paint application on the figure feels unfortunately lackluster, the front of the armor was dirtied up and weathered while the entire back was neglected and kept clean (not noticeable if you keep the poncho on the figure)
  • The head sculpt and the photo real print look good, but it has a glossy look to it
  • This Black Series Captain Rex figure looks very cool on display and the soft-goods poncho looks great on the figure and for fans of the Clone Wars/Bad Batch this figure is a must-have
