MORE INFORMATION
This Luke Skywalker action figure was released single carded in August 2021 exclusively through Hasbro Pulse
ShopDisney.com was announced as an exclusive partner for this figure but as of this database entry it has not been made available on the website
The figure is part of Hasbro's celebration of Lucasfilm's 50th anniversary
The packaging of the figure is a throwback to the 1995 Power Of The Force packaging which launched the modern era of 3 3/4" Star Wars action figure collecting
The figure now features the photo real face print instead of a painted face and the soft-goods tunic is now white instead of off-white
Hasbro included Luke Skywalker's binoculars, his lightsaber hilt with removable blue blade, a soft-goods tunic and a belt
The soft goods tunic can be taken off the figure
Even though the belt can't unplug to take it off it can be slipped down the legs (a bit tough to do but doable)
The droid caller and the pouches on the belt are permanently attached
The lightsaber has a removable blue blade
The lightsaber hilt can be hung from a hook on the belt
The binoculars have a soft plastic flap which can be attached to the belt
Luke Skywalker is able to hold the lightsaber and the binoculars tightly in each hand
Hasbro gave this figure two swivel biceps and double jointed elbows, this way Luke is able to put the binoculars right in front of the eyes
Unfortunately Hasbro didn't dirty Luke up and there is no Tatooine sand or weathering to be found on the figure
Luke stands well on display without falling over
The face update on the figure is a slight improvement to the previously released versions of this figure, but the main draw of this release is the Power Of The Force (2) style packaging which back in the Summer of 1995 brought back the thrill of 3 3/4" Star Wars action figures
