MORE INFORMATION

  • The Luke Skywalker (Imperial Lightcruiser) figure was released single carded in late January 2023
  • Luke is based on his appearance in the final episode of season two of the Mandalorian tv series
  • The figure came with a removable soft-goods robe, a green lightsaber, a lightsaber hilt and a Jabba's palace blaster
  • The lightsaber hilt can be plugged into a hole on the left side of the belt which works well and looks cool
  • Luke is able to hold all three weapons well in his hands
  • If you place the blaster in Luke Skywalker's right hand you can position the index finger on the weapon's trigger
  • The soft-goods robe looks good and doesn't feel overly bulky
  • The stitching on the hood is done well and it doesn't stand up much if placed over Luke Skywalker's head
  • The figure's sculpt looks great, the way the tunic drapes down on the front looks nice and the head sculpt with its photo real print looks good in person to the naked eye
  • All three weapons have details painted on them, from gold, silver and black on the saber hilts to brown and dark silver on the blaster, they all look good
  • A ball-jointed upper body or a double neck joint would have been nice to see but that's unfortunately not the case (not a deal breaker, but still worth mentioning)
  • Even though the figure has the typical Lucasfilm copyright imprint on it we couldn't find a date stamp
  • Luke Skywalker balances out well when on display and the limbs in the figure pictured were nicely stiff
  • Commander Solo let us know in the comments that the figure doesn't fit onto a regular display stand, and even though the peg holes are located in the heels of the figure they are not deep and wide enough to be compatible with regularly available third party stands
  • This Luke Skywalker Imperial Lightcruiser figure was heavily anticipated by the fan community, and it's great that the figure is not only available now (finally!), but that it also turned out nicely and was worth the wait
