MORE INFORMATION

  • This Retro Luke Skywalker (Jedi) figure was released single carded in early March 2023 as part of Hasbro's celebration of Return Of The Jedi's 40th Anniversary
  • The figure is a tribute to the original Luke Skywalker (Jedi) figure from 1983
  • Luke came with a removable soft-goods robe, a green lightsaber and a Jabba's Palace blaster
  • The soft-goods robe fits nicely over the figure and if you want to remove it just pull it over the figure's head
  • The felt material used for the robe feels very similar to the original in its weight, look and overall feel
  • The robe included with the new 2023 figure is longer than the regular Luke Jedi robe from 1983, but it's the same length like an original snap-cape robe (there are so many variations from the original Kenner days that it's difficult to compare and point out specific differences)
  • Both weapons fit somewhat loosely into Luke's hands, if you own the original figure you know exactly what you are getting here and in order to make both weapons fit you have to wedge them into the hands a bit
  • The figure looks pretty spot on when compared to the original 1983 version, only the head feels a bit different
  • One question which gets asked every now and then in the Galactic Figures Community is if these figures are made from the original molds and the answer is no, this questions has been answered several times directly to us by Hasbro Star Wars team members and it was confirmed that they are 3D scanned off of original Kenner figures
  • Luke Jedi stands well on display without falling over
  • The original Luke Jedi figure is an all time favorite here at GalacticFigures.com and without it this website would likely not exist because it sparked a life-long Star Wars passion about 40 years ago. It's truly mind-blowing that Hasbro re-made it 40 years later after its original release so that a new generation of fans and collectors can enjoy it, thank you Hasbro!
