MORE Count Dooku INFO

  • This Count Dooku figure was first revealed at MCM London Comic Con 2025
  • This Count Dooku Black Series six-inch figure from Hasbro was released in mid-February 2026 in a single-box format and is based on Count Dooku's appearance in Tales of the Jedi on Disney+, portraying the character during his younger Jedi years
  • The figure includes two interchangeable head sculpts that represent a young Count Dooku and a slightly older version from Star Wars Tales of the Jedi, and both likenesses look absolutely phenomenal
  • A soft goods cape is included with a functional front clasp that allows for easy removal, although taking it off reveals two visible holes in the chest which makes it advisable to keep the cape attached for display
  • Hasbro packed in one lightsaber hilt with two interchangeable blue blades, including a standard blade and a wider motion-effect blade that creates a dynamic Count Dooku Tales of the Jedi display option
  • Unfortunately, the lightsaber hilt features very basic gray plastic with no convincing silver detailing, resulting in one of the cheapest-looking hilts seen in the Black Series line and detracting slightly from an otherwise strong release
  • The hilt includes a peg that plugs into the belt, allowing Count Dooku to be displayed in a neutral pose with the lightsaber hanging naturally at his side
  • Paint applications on the figure are clean and animation-accurate with no weathering or wash, which matches the aesthetic of Star Wars Tales of the Jedi but gives parts of the outfit a slightly plasticky appearance
  • The color tones on the outfit are screen-accurate, and the soft goods cape stands out with detailed stitching and layered fabric patterns that elevate the overall presentation
  • Articulation is state-of-the-art for the Black Series with barbell hips, swivel thighs, rocker ankles, and butterfly shoulder joints, and the joints are firm enough to hold dynamic poses with confidence
  • Overall, this Count Dooku Tales of the Jedi Black Series figure is a standout and a welcome character debut in the six-inch line, and while the poorly painted lightsaber hilt (and clasp) keeps it from being a perfect ten, it remains a must-have release for collectors
