This Anakin Skywalker figure was released single carded as part of a 2-pack together with Commander Cody
This set was a Walmart exclusive in August 2026
Having Anakin and Commander Cody paired together makes no sense since Cody was on Utapau and served Obi-Wan Kenobi, a pairing with a 501st Clone Trooper would have made more sense in this case
The name pill on the card says Anakin Skywalker, but the image on the packaging shows Anakin when he had already turned to the Dark Side and was christened Darth Vader
Hasbro included a lightsaber hilt, a lightsaber with blue blade, a soft-goods robe and an additional left hand
The non-ignited lightsaber hilt can be plugged into a hole in the belt for storage, this works very well
The soft-goods robe can easily be taken off the figure
Hasbro put a magic spell on the robe because it fits exceptionally well onto the figure, in particular the hood fits nicely around the head without standing up (one of the best executed robes we've come across in the 3 3/4" line)
Both weapons fit well into Anakin's hands
It's easy to exchange the left hand, simply pull it off its peg and plug the extra hand onto it
It's nice to have a second hand included here because it adds variety on how you can display Anakin
The head sculpt with the ink-jet print on the portrait looks good in person
Small details like the food capsules on the belt, or the belt buckle, were nicely painted
The figure pictured here had nicely stiff joints which made it easy to pose without having it fall over constantly
All in all, this version of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker is well worth adding to the collection, it turned out great, and it's going to be a hot contender for a TOP 5 figure for the year
