MORE INFORMATION

This Ahsoka Tano action figure was released during The Clone Wars Collection in Fall of 2009. Ahsoka is based on her appearance in the Clone Wars episode "Cargo Of Doom" from the second season.

For this release, Hasbro utilized the already existing sculpt from the first released Ahsoka figure, but gave her a new left under arm and hand, a new paint application and new accessories. One of the flaws on the original sculpt was that Ahsoka wasn't able to hold her lightsaber in both hands. With a new left under arm and a new left hand this has now been addressed and the saber fits tightly into both of Ahsoka's hands. Unfortunately, the lack of elbow joints still limits the way the figure can be posed with the lightsaber. The included helmet (which is identical to Anakin's) fits OK over Ahsoka's head, but leaves some gaps under the chin area.

The figure still has balancing problems due to the petite nature of the sculpt. However, Hasbro gave Ahsoka the typical peg holes in the feet so she can be placed on a stand for additional support. The paint application is cleanly applied, and different when compared to the two previously released versions. Her face expression is now more aggressive with her teeth showing, and the color of the body suit is now purple instead of beige. All in all, it's an OK figure, but it feels a little bit plain without any kind of cloak or accessories around her upper body. Granted, this has more to do with the way Ahsoka appeared in the TV show and has not that much to do with Hasbro. Overall, this is not the definite version of Ahsoka yet, but it's a decent and different enough looking Ahsoka figure, which will look quite cool next to this Anakin figure.
