Power Of The Jedi Force File
Almost every basic figure in the Power Of The Jedi single carded assortment included a Jedi Force File , a small double-sided 5-page booklet, with character stats. The only figures which didn't include a Force File were BoShek, Eeth Koth, FX-7, Imperial Officer, astromech droid R4-M9 (and Mouse Droid), Sabe (Royal Decoy), Rebel Fleet Trooper, Otoga 222 (packed-in with Anakin Skywalker) and Teebo. The Force File is 3.3" high (8,4 cm) and 9.9" in width fully extended (25 cm). The Force File listed biographies, skills, gear, tech, statistics, adventures and allies & enemies for each character. There were a total of 47 different Force Files to collect.

MORE INFORMATION

This Cold Weather Gear Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure was released single carded during The Power Of The Jedi toy line in 2001. Obi-Wan is based on concepts and was never seen wearing Cold Weather Gear in any of the movies.

The figure has 6 joints, a swivel neck, 2 swivel arms, a swivel waist, and 2 swivel legs. Despite the lack of articulated knees and ankles, the figure manages to keep the balance nicely without requiring help from a stand. There were 3 accessories included with Obi-Wan, a blue lightsaber, a hat (the goggles are molded into the hat), and a survival backpack. Kenobi has a nice and firm grip on the saber with both hands, and the backpack plugs nicely into two holes in the back. The hat sits tightly and covers Obi-Wan's head very well.

The paint application on Obi-Wan is well done with nice subtle weathering on the pants and the hat. It's an overall interesting figure to look at, especially the equipment on the belt, the rope hanging down on the back and the details on the backpack look nice and add some "adventure" flavor to the figure. The look of this Cold Weather Obi-Wan Kenobi figure holds up quite well compared with modern figures in 2014, but where it falls short is in its limited pose ability and only 6 swivel joints.

PACKAGING TEXT

A Jedi must always be well equipped for any circumstance. Obi-Wan Kenobi, a loyal and disciplined Jedi, is often sent by the Jedi Council to resolve matters on worlds where the environment is very cold. He often must prepare for these missions by bringing special gear with him to handle the colder temperatures.
