• This Elite Series Anakin Skywalker was released at Disney Stores on October 12, 2015
• This figure sold well at first, but when Disney re-released Anakin again on April 5th, 2016 in the same packaging and without any changes made to the figure, those figures sat on store shelves for the remainder of 2016
• Anakin Skywalker is a slight re-work of the D23 exclusive Disney Elite Series Anakin Skywalker figure
• This time around Disney added a peg hole in the bottom of the right foot and they included a display stand
• The D23 exclusive Anakin Skywalker couldn't hold the lightsaber well because the saber hilt was too big for the hand, for this release Disney opted to place the lightsaber into Anakin's hand already (take a look at both Elite Series Anakin Skywalker figures side by side!)
• Disney changed the lightsaber blade slightly from a fully colored blade to a see-through blade (have a look at the comparison picture to see the different lightsaber blades)
• Unfortunately, we weren't able to remove the lightsaber from Anakin's hand at all, had we pulled harder the paint on the hands would have likely chipped
• The figure was painted quite well, but unfortunately Disney forgot to paint Anakin Skywalker's Jedi braids (a detail even found on Hasbro's much smaller 3.75" action figure line)
• The subtle wear on the boots looks good and the details on the belt were painted well
• There was no Jedi robe included
• The head sculpt didn't turn out well, it doesn't look like Hayden Christensen unfortunately
