MORE INFORMATION

  • This Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper Disguise was released on May 25th, 2017, which was the 40th Anniversary Of Star Wars, exclusively at Disney Stores
  • The figure was packed-in together with Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise
  • There were two different versions of this Luke Skywalker figure available, one with brown hair and one with blonde hair
  • This was an intentional nod to the original Kenner vintage line from 1978 where Luke was released with brown hair and with blonde hair
  • Pictured here is the blonde hair version
  • The Stormtrooper helmet is removable and it fits well over the head
  • The helmet feels very sturdy for an accessory
  • Even though Hasbro re-used the Disney Elite Series Stormtrooper sculpt for the body, the head and the belt are new
  • The belt on this figure was a nice surprise, it has the thermal detonator in the back removed and it has the grappling hook on the side (not removable)
  • The figure is able to hold the blaster rifle well in the right hand
  • Even though Disney made the holster functional, the blaster doesn't fit well into it
  • The figure is sculpted very well, they even caught the wonky-ness of the helmet which looks great
  • The glossy paint on the armor looks fantastic and the small details on the helmet are painted nicely as well
  • The biggest flaw in this figure is it's height, it's exactly as tall as Han Solo, which is wrong and it feels as if Disney cheaped-out
  • Somebody in Disney marketing caught this error and decided to place Luke a little further down in the packaging, so when looking at both figures in the packaging it indeed looks as if Luke is shorter (this is not the case!)
