MORE INFORMATION

  • This version of R2-D2 (Battle Of Hoth) was released individually carded
  • The figure is a repaint of the Vintage Original Trilogy R2-D2 from 2004
  • This time however the front panel is glued shut and Hasbro included different accessories
  • The figure was subtitled by Hasbro with "Battle Of Hoth" - but the accessories included with Artoo are from the "Arrival On Dagobah" scene
  • Artoo's head can be rotated 360 degrees - which then makes a clicking sound and moves the droid's sensor scope in and out of the dome
  • The very top of the dome has a clear see-through piece of plastic in it - when light shines on it - R2-D2's front eye will light up
  • The middle leg can be unplugged
  • All three feet have small wheels in them
  • The included two container accessories can be opened
  • This very same figure was re-released by Hasbro in 2008 in a Star Tours and Disney Theme Park exclusive multipack: R2-D2 Droid Pack

PACKAGING TEXT

As the assault on the Rebel's secret base on Hoth comes to an end, R2-D2 (Artoo-Detoo) is ready to take off in Luke Skywalker's X-Wing fighter. As the two flee the ice planet, Luke informs Artoo that he is not planning to meet at the rendezvous point with the other Rebels. Instead, Luke is planning to go to the Dagobah system, a decision that makes Artoo a bit uneasy.
