• This Elite Series Die-Cast R2-D2 with Serving Tray was released single boxed exclusively at Disney Stores in October 2018
• This figure, like all the other Disney Die Cast Elite Series action figures, is heavy
• R2-D2 came with a 3-piece drinking tray, seven glasses and a dispenser
• The tray consists of two legs and the tray itself
• The tray legs can swivel back and forth, this way when R2 has his outer legs further to the back (in a 3 legged moving position), the tray still fits perfectly over the dome (this is very well done and a detail which we have not seen in any of Hasbro's versions)
• The glasses plug into small holes on top of the tray, this doesn't work well unfortunately and the glasses won't stay in place
• The dispenser plugs into a hole in the dome and the dispenser arm has two swivel joints so that it can be placed in several different positions
• In order to get the middle leg in and out of the droid it can be pushed all the way into the body until it snaps into place, push it in again and it loosens so that it can be pulled out and extended all the way
• The dome can be rotated 360° (it doesn't trigger any functionality)
• There are no panels on the droid which can be opened
• There are no wheels in the bottom of the feet
• R2-D2 was sculpted well and the applied wash looks outstanding
• R2-D2 stands well on display without any balancing issues
• This figure of R2-D2 is among the most impressive figures released in the entire run of Disney's Elite Series Die-Cast figures

This line of premium die cast action figures features iconic droids from the expanseive world of Star Wars. Each droid was meticulously selected, engineered and crafted with Star Wars fans in mind.

A resourceful astromech droid, R2-D2 served Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker - showing great bravery in rescuing his masters an their friends from many perils. In a rescue mission to save Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, he dutifully served drinks to Jabba's guests while hiding Luke's lightsaber for just the right moment.
