- The droid's dome can be rotated 360 degrees - which then moves the middle leg in and out of the body
- There were no hidden panels or gadgets built into R2-D2
- Hasbro included two booster rockets - which can be attached to the outside of both legs
- The bottom of all three feet have small wheels in them - so that Artoo Detoo can be moved around
- There are no electronics found in this droid
- Overall - this version of R2-D2 with the booster rockets fits better into the collection than the previous Droid Factory Flight R2-D2 from 2003
