MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series R2-D2 Dagobah was released single carded in April 2020 in Hasbro's 40th The Empire Strikes Back Collection
  • The droid is a repaint of the 2013 Black Series R2-D2, but with less accessories included
  • This version of R2-D2 is much dirtier than any of the previously released R2-D2s
  • There were four accessories included, one periscope, one panel for the dome and two removable outer leg panels
  • The sensorscope can be plugged into a hole in the dome
  • The hole in the top of the dome can be covered up with the included small panel
  • Even though the outer panels on the legs can be taken off, there were no booster rockets included which could be used in their place
  • R2-D2's dome can be rotated 360° which then moves the middle leg in or out of the body
  • There are two front panels on R2's body which can be opened, this then lets you pull out two of R2-D2's arms
  • The bottom of each foot has two wheels in them, this helps to balance the figure out and lets you roll R2-D2 around
  • The paint application looks cool with more dirt towards the bottom of the droid
  • Unfortunately R2-D2 is too small in comparison with other 6 inch scale figures
  • The Kenner-inspired cardback for this figure looks great and is a first for this particular version (Kenner never released a Dagobah specific cardback)
