- This R2-D2 figure was released in a multipack titled Rebel Alliance in October 2020
- The other figures in this set were Han Solo (Bespin), Princess Leia Organa (Hoth), Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker (Jedi)
- This R2-D2 figure is a straight re-release of the Mission Series R2-D2 from 2015
- There is no middle leg and the ankles on the two outer legs are not articulated
- The dome can be rotated 360° but it doesn't trigger any functionality
- One of the front panels on Artoo can be opened, which then lets you manually pull out one of R2's arms
- The paint application on this version of R2-D2 is underwhelming, there is no paint on the back of the droid's body, there is no wash or battle damage to be found either
- The sculpt feels outdated and five steps back from the established Build-A-Droid sculpt which was established by Hasbro in 2008 (12 years ago as of this release)
