• This R2-D2 figure was released single carded as part of a multipack of figures which was exclusively available at San Diego Comic Con 2011

• The 14 figure set packaging was themed after the second Death Star as seen in Return Of The Jedi

• The figure has seven points of articulation, including a rotating dome, two movable legs, three swivel ankles and the middle leg which extends in and out of the body
• The left and right legs each have two wheels for movement, while the middle leg extends manually but lacks wheels
• There is a front compartment that opens to reveal a retractable arm
• The figure comes with several accessories, including a serving tray with seven glasses, Luke Skywalker’s ROTJ lightsaber hilt, a drink dispenser, and a sensorscope
• The dome has a hole where the lightsaber hilt or sensorscope can be inserted
• Pushing the lightsaber hilt or sensorscope into the dome extends the middle leg and hides the accessory inside
• If left un-pushed, the accessories remain visible, positioning R2-D2 as "ready-to-shoot" the lightsaber or with the sensorscope extended
• The drink dispenser plugs into the dome and is designed to align perfectly with the glasses
• The paint application is cleanly done and accurately matches R2-D2’s colors
• The sculpt is slightly smaller than previous R2-D2 versions but looks stunning
• Some weathering or a "Tatooine-sand" effect would have been a nice addition but is not a deal-breaker
• One minor issue is that the front panel does not close completely, leaving a small gap, though this may be an isolated case
• Overall, this R2-D2 figure is fantastic and a must-have for any Star Wars collection

"I am a Jedi, like my father before me."

Return of the Jedi was a powerful conclusion to this epic saga of good versus evil. The whole world knows this film by its current title, which evokes the glorious return of the hero. But during filming, the movie was slated to be called Revenge of the Jedi. Merchandise was developed based on this title, including Kenner® action figure packaging. Then, late in production, there was a dramatic change. Shortly before the film was released, George Lucas decided the title should be Return of the Jedi. The final title carries a more appropriate emotional tone because, of course, a Jedi would not seek revenge.

To celebrate this monumental film and the unique history of its title, we have created special packages of favorite characters from the movie, featuring the Revenge of the Jedi title. May the Force be with you!
