MORE R2-D2 INFO

This R2-D2 figure was sold on September 4, 2026 exclusively through DisneyStore.com and Disney Parks
This is the third droid from series 2 in 2026 of the Build-A-Droid program at Disney
Even though we have seen R2-D2 numerous times released by Disney in the 3 3/4" scale, this one marks the first time Artoo has been made available on a single card
This R2-D2 figure is based on the D-SQUAD episodes from the Clone Wars animated series
What makes this version of R2-D2 different from every version that has come before it are the yellow/black warning stripes on the legs
There were no accessories included for R2-D2 to interact with
R2-D2's feet have the typical astromech droid wheels in the bottom so the droid can be manually rolled around
The inner workings underneath the dome were painted silver which looks cool
It's easy to unplug the middle leg, this way Artoo can be displayed in a three or two legged pose
The paint application on the droid looks good, it's a very pristine and clean looking version of R2-D2
There were no accessories included for R2-D2 to interact with, but Disney did included another collectible trading card and the base for build a droid RX-01
R2-D2 stands very well on display without falling over
