This time around the figure has a slightly different paint application and Hasbro gave Luke a new head sculpt where the hat including the scarf is molded on and not removable
Both included lightsabers - the non-ignited hilt and the lit saber - fit well into each of the hands
The blaster fits well into each of the hands and quite tightly into the holster (it's almost a bit too big)
The figure has no balancing issues - even in more dynamic poses
The non-ignited lightsaber hilt plugs nicely into a hole on the left side of the figure's belt
Luke's removable collar plugs into a small hole in the back of Luke's neck
The details on the outfit appear to be all there - including the correct pouches on the belt - the (unpainted!?) communicator on the left forearm and the "Commander" insignia on the chest
The bloody scars from the Wampa attack in the facial area look cheap
Unfortunately this figure comes with a hat which has goggles on it (Luke lost his goggles during the attack)
Hasbro had two years to fix one of the bigger complaints from the previous release - which are the wide shoulders - but this issue wasn't addressed
All in all - this version of Luke Skywalker is a decent figure - but with just a little bit more attention to detail it could have been much better
