MORE INFORMATION

This C-3PO with Cargo Net was released individually carded during the The Power Of The Force 2 toy line in 1998. The figure is based on C-3PO's appearance on Bespin in The Empire Strikes Back, after he gets shot by Imperials.

The figure has only 5 joints, which are in the neck, both arms and legs. However, the figure stands quite well without help from a stand. 3PO is entirely disassemblable, so that the head, both arms, the torso and both legs can be separated. Once the figure is taken apart, the parts can be stored in the included Cargo Net. Unfortunately, the net is rather small, and even though it's possible to cram all the parts in it, the legs cause problems and look out of place.

The paint application on C-3PO is superbly done! The droid is dirty, beat up and rusty looking, and has a cool metalic look underneath. The only part which doesn't look all too well is C-3PO's right silver shin, which looks quite plastic. The sculpt is only OK with the elbows sticking out a little too much, but most of C-3PO's details seem to be there. All in all, it's an average C-3PO figure, with very limited poseability, a good working take-a-part feature, and a cool paint job.
