MORE INFORMATION

  • This Elite Series Die-Cast R2-D2 figure was released single boxed at Disney Stores on September 1, 2017 (Force Friday II)
  • The figure is a repaint of the Elite Series Die-Cast R2-D2 figure from 2015
  • In order to get the middle leg in and out of the droid it can be pushed all the way into the body until it snaps into place, push it in again and it loosens so that it can be pulled out and extended all the way
  • The dome can be rotated 360° (it doesn't trigger any functionality)
  • There are no panels on the droid which can be opened
  • There are no wheels in the bottom of the feet
  • Disney included a display stand with R2-D2 (nice, but the droid doesn't have any holes in the feet and R2 stands securely on his)
  • We think that droid figures in the Disney Elite Series turned out great overall and this R2-D2 is well worth adding to the collection if you don't own any of the previous releases in this toy line
