Today, Blue Milk LLC launches Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Archive Edition book on crowd-funding site Kickstarter. Starting from $50 for early bird backers, the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Archive Edition is a comprehensive historical manuscript and detailed visual archive of one of Hasbro's most popular lines of 3.75-inch Star Wars action figures, The Vintage Collection (TVC). To learn more about this project have a look here.
Have a look at the new database entries for The Vintage Collection, check out the photo galleries, read the figure information and listen to the reviews.
Entertainment Earth has begun to process orders for the next wave of The Vintage Collection! If you haven't ordered your case yet (they also sell figures individually), now is the time! The wave includes the Praetorian Guard, Captain Phasma, Lando Calrissian (from the Solo movie), Chewbacca and the over the top fantastic looking Rogue One Stormtrooper! Check it out!
You can now find the Han Solo (Stormtrooper) from Hasbro's 3.75" The Vintage Collection in our system. To learn more about it have a look at the database entry here: Han Solo Stormtrooper.
Here is how we experienced Target's special, or not so special May 12th, 20019, read on!
It looks as if Target.com moved the Vintage Collection Han Solo (Stormtrooper), the Black Series 6" Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper) and the Star Wars Retro Collection to in-stock at 12am EST. The Retro Collection sold out online within a few minutes and Target removed the figures entirely from their website. The Vintage Collection Han Solo (Stormtrooper) is readily available with in-store pick up, but the Black Series Luke Skywalker figure appears to be limited in availability with most stores in our area (Seattle) only carrying one or none at all.
Update: The Black Series 6" Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper) sold out.
We don't know why Target decided to make this coming Sunday special for Star Wars action figure collectors, but this coming Sunday May 12th 2019, is the day when the street date will be lifted for several new Star Wars figures.
We have a list of figures which should be on store shelves and the corresponding DPCI numbers so you can ask a customer service manager to help you spend your money, have a look!
You can now pre-order the new wave of 3.75" Vintage Collection figures at Entertainment Earth! This wave includes Lando Calrissian, the Elite Praetorian Guard, Captain Phasma, Chewbacca and the Rogue One Stormtrooper, check it out!

We've been re-organizing The Vintage Collection slightly, plus we've set up a new section which is dedicated to re-releases in The Vintage Collection. Even though those figures carry the same VC number on the back of the packaging as the previous released figures, we think that the paint differences on the figures and the changes to the packaging warrants its own section. The first figure for this new section is Luke Skywalker (Endor) VC23, which was updated with Hasbro's photo real face printing technology. You can read our original report about this change from a month ago here: Oh Yes They Are Different!
You can now find the HasLab exclusive Yak Face and Jabba The Hutt figures in the database. Have a look at both entries to learn more about each figure!

UPDATE: German orders can be placed here! (EUR 441,45 + EUR 358,77 shipping + customs fees!)
The description for their online store reads as follows:
Hasbro Pulse brings you product offerings from the brands you love. Star Wars The Vintage Collection Jabba's Sail Barge (The Khetanna): Measuring approximately 4ft long, this vast vehicle is a dream item for any Star Wars collection. Designed to captivate and inspire, The Vintage Collection Jabba's Sail Barge (The Khetanna) features exquisitely detailed, fan accessible decks that complement 3.75-inch figures (not included) allowing fans and collectors to recreate intense battles in the Star Wars saga. Complete with premium deco, vintage packaging, and soft cloth sails, this dream product offers Star Wars devotees the quality and realism they know and love. Included with the vehicle is Jabba the Hutt and Yak Face (3.75-inch scale figure).
Sammy Delco just purchased the lastest Star Wars The Vintage Collection figures in China and gave us a closer look at the head sculpts. Initially Hasbro announced during New York Comic Con 2018 that those figures would be straight re-releases, with the exception of changes to the legal statements on the back of the packaging. Well, it looks like Hasbro took the opportunity and implemented the photo real face printing technology, which is a definite upgrade and well worth upgrading to if you own the previous releases. Check out the comparison shots!
Update: Darth Vader has been added, and he as well was updated with the photo real face printing technology.
We've uploaded the first round of fan submissions! Did you get a Sail Barge too? Then we would love to add you to the photo gallery as well! Post your own Sail Barge pics in the comments please, we can grab them from there and get them added!
Following collectors and their Sail Barges (and in some cases their pets and younglings!) have been added to JediBusiness.com:
Thank you for all your submissions! Now let's take a look at Jabba's Sail Barge photo gallery and if you want to get your pictures added, please post them in the comments!
We've translated the Huttese language inside Jabba The Hutt's Kethanna Sail Barge! Fun stuff, have a look!
We've set up a list with detailed images of every part and accessory included with Jabba's Sail Barge for future reference. This might come in handy for you if you are going to buy a used Jabba's Sail Barge in the future, or if you are going to sell yours in the future and want to make sure that you still have all the parts. It will also be helpful to look at when you disassemble your Sail Barge for storage. Have a look at our Jabba's Sail Barge Reference Guide!
Jabba's Sail Barge arrived around noon on Friday, March 8, 2019, and we've taken a ton of images, assembled it, pulled out figures from storage to populate it, and inspected it closely from top to bottom. Here is what we've learned in the first 24 hours along with some tips which might help you with your set up.
You can now find Rey (Island Journey) from Hasbro's 3.75" The Vintage Collection in the database, check it out!
You can now find Hasbro's 3.75" 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper from The Vintage Collection in the database. The figure is only available online, but it's numbered and part of the basic assortment. Read on to learn more about the figure: 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper
Here is another addition to the database from The Vintage Collection! To learn more about Princess Leia Organa (Boushh) head on over to the database entry!
We've added Klaatu from Hasbro's The Vintage Collection to the database. For all the details have a look at the entry:
Walmart.com has added their exclusive Vintage Collection Jabba's Palace Adventure Playset to the website and revealed new images of the included Han Solo in Carbonite and Ree Yees figures! They both look fantastic on their Kenner-inspired cards, check 'em out!
Both figures are re-releases of Black Series 3.75" figures, but it's the first time that they are being made available in The Vintage Collection. Ree-Yees was previously available in 2014: Ree-Yees Black Series 3.75" #28 and Han Solo in Carbonite was released in 2015, you can look at the Han Solo figure here and the Carbonite Block here.
The Sail Barge is close to getting into collector's hands and so it's time for us to catch up with some action figure entries into the database which can be used together with a Jabba display! Our entry for today is Yak Face (Salt Marae) from Hasbro's 3.75" The Vintage Collection, the figure turned out brilliantly, have a look at the full photo gallery and all the information to learn more about it!
Is your nursery ready? The Barge is about to pop and we want to see your Jabba's Sail Barge displays! Post your pictures in the comments to this post and we'll gather them into one big photo gallery and feature them until the end of days on JediBusiness.com!
We've been taking a look at Jabba's Sail Barge's history and stumbled upon a Google Hangout with JediBusiness.com and some members of the Hasbro Star Wars team and were surprised about some of the intel we gathered almost a year ago. So here are 10 fun facts which you might not remember about Jabba's Sail Barge, check it out!
We've taken a look at the long road Hasbro's up-coming Vintage Collection Jabba's Sail Barge had to take in order for it to become a reality, all the way from back in 2013 until today. We would be honored if you'd join us!
Welcome to our very first episode of JBT - Jedi Business Talk! We are still in the process of getting the podcast out to all major podcast apps, and we'll let you know once that's done, but for now, you can stream the very first episode here on J.B. already.
Fellow collectors of Hasbro's 3.75" The Vintage Collection, New York Toy Fair 2019 was for you! There was a lot of cool stuff shown, so let's dive into some of the information which we gathered by talking to members of Hasbro's Star Wars team on the show floor. Take a look!
Here is a closer look at The Vintage Collection Skiff and all the details we could find about it on the show floor at New York Toy Fair 2019. Have a look!
The Hasbro Toy Fair 2019 presentation is over and we have a ton of information to go through and share with you. It will take time to sort it all out, but we are working on it as you are reading this! We took a ton of photos on the show floor, we gathered intel which you won't find anywhere else, and we have the audio recording of the Hasbro interview which took place after the main presentation. So stay tuned to J.B. over the coming week for constant updates.
If you don't yet, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional coverage.
For now, click on the image and take a look at all the beautiful press photos which Hasbro sent to us:
Today Hasbro launched their brand new PULSE online store which seems to be focused on collectors, it even has a HasLab tab with details about Hasbro's Kethanna Sail Barge project. Currently they have the latest wave of Star Wars: The Vintage Collection 3,75" figures in stock, including Yak Face, Klaatu and Princess Leia Organa disguised as Boushh. Shipping is free for standard shipping within the continental USA.
We are looking forward to learning more about Hasbro Pluse during New York Toy Fair 2019. For live updates from the show floor follow us on this dedicated page please!
Entertainment Earth has updated their pre-order listing for the Vintage Collection 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper with a carded image. The name plate looks mighty busy with two languages squeezed onto it, but we like how it turned out overall! To get your figure pre-ordered have a look here.
We've just received a notification from Entertainment Earth informing us that following items are now available on their website:
Black Series 6" Captain Phasma
The Vintage Collection Tie Fighter
Force Link 2.0 Kessel Mine Playset
If you've been collecting for the last year you know that the Kessel Mine playset and the Vintage Collection Imperial Tie Fighter were previously exclusive to Walmart and that Captain Phasma and Zuckuss can also be found at Disney Stores. It's troubling to see how exclusive Star Wars toys are being swapped around behind the scenes these days. Great for us however is that Entertainment Earth is a specialty collectors shop which means minty mint packaging and customer service.
You can now find the latest Vintage Collection figures at Entertainment Earth, have a look here!
Hasbro has sent out an email to Haslab backers with images of the final packaging desgin of the Sail Barge. We think it turned out fantastic! The Sail Barge will ship to backers in February 2019, and no, it will not be made availablea again in the United States or Canada.
You can now find the Vintage Collection Stormtrooper (Mimban) VC123 figure in the database. Originally this figure was supposed to be available at Walmart stores in the United States but it hasn't been released yet. Our sample came from a seller in China, we'll keep you updated once we hear more about this figure from Hasbro and how it will be distributed in the U.S. Take a look at the figure here:
Here is a complete look at Hasbro's The Vintage Collection schedule all the way up to Fall 2019. There are six figures which still need to be revealed and we will likely see them at New York Toy Fair 2019. The future looks bright for fans of Kenner packaging and super articulated action figures, check it out:
We've received the press release from Hasbro including press images. Now we know that the Black Series 6" Mace Windu figure will be available in Spring 2019 in the main line. The Vintage Collection Poe Dameron figure will be released in the main line during Fall 2019.
Mace Windu is an all new figure and the figure's likeness is based on Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, have a look at the comparison images below. Even though the Vintage Collection 3 3/4" Poe Dameron figure is a re-release of the 3 3/4" Black Series figure, it will be updated with the new face printing technology. This release feels boring because the Walmart exclusive 3 3/4" Black Series figure has been peg warming for a long time but keep in mind that the Vintage Collection is just as much about the packaging as it is about the figure.
Steve Evans, Design Director for Star Wars at Hasbro, revealed on his Instagram account that the just announced R2-D2 for the 3 3/4" Vintage Collection next year will be released on a classic ANH card.
We did some digging and it looks as if the R2-D2 figure itself will be a re-release of the Entertainment Earth exclusive Force Link 2.0 R2-D2 figure which is packed-in with C-3PO. You can get the set here: R2-D2 & C-3PO at Entertainment Earth. For more images of R2-D2 take a look at the database entry or scroll further down.
For a list of all 3 3/4" R2-D2 figures have a look in the database here: R2-D2 figures.

During their panel at MCM London Comic Con Hasbro revealed two new Star Wars figures for 2019! The 3 3/4" Vintage Collection will get R2-D2 and The Black Series 6" line will get an Episode I Battle Droid! Thanks to FanthaTracks.com for covering the panel! We'll upload the press images once we've received them, please stay tuned.
Steve Evan's confirmed through his Instagram account that the Chewbacca figure for The Vintage Collection 2019 will be a re-release and that it will be released with the first issued classic image on the card. As you all know, the Vintage Collection is just as much about the classic packaging as it is about the figures, and since Chewbacca hasn't been released in TVC yet, this is a welcome addition (the VOTC version from 2004 used the Return Of The Jedi logo).
The figure itself looks to be a re-release of the Black Series 3 3/4" Chewbacca figure from 2015.
So we can expect something similar to what was seen below. Picture credit to Chris Fawcett's 12back.com.
Here is a comparison image with our database entry for Chewbacca:
Hasbro has sent press images to media outlets of their newly announced Black Series 6" Padme Amidala and the 3 3/4" Vintage Collection Chewbacca. Both figures will be available in Spring 2019, they are part of the main lines and not exclusives.
During Paris Comic Con 2018 Hasbro announced two new figures coming! Look for Padme Amidala from Attack Of The Clones in the Black Series 6" line and Chewbacca in the 3 3/4" The Vintage Collection in 2019!

You can now find The Vintage Collection 3 3/4" Imperial Death Trooper in the database, check it out:
You can now find the TIE Fighter Pilot from The Vintage Collection in the database. The figure is packed-in together with a Tie Fighter vehicle exclusively at Walmart stores. To learn more about this set have a look here:

Here is a look at all the announced Star Wars action figures from New York Comic Con 2018 for the Star Wars: Resistance, Star Wars The Black Series and Star Wars The Vintage Collection toy lines from Hasbro. The Star Wars: Resistance action figure line will be 3 3/4", The Black Series of course is in the 6" scale and The Vintage Collection are super articulated 3 3/4" action figures on vintage Kenner-style cards. Have a look, there is a lot of great stuff coming our way!
We've captured the audio of the SyFy Wire Live presentation by Hasbro's Star Wars team for you. Listen to Steve Evans and Patrick Schneider reveal new The Vintage Collection figures, talk about the creation of the Imperial Combat Assault Tank and the Black Series archive series!
Here is another audio which we recorded at Hasbro's media event during New York Comic Con 2018. In the audio you will hear Steve Evans and Patrick Schneider talk about the Sail Barge and some Vintage Collection figures, have fun listening!
We found out this morning during Hasbro's media event that this Sunday, during Hasbro's New York Comic 2018 panel, Hasbro will give us a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of The Vintage Collection Imperial Assault Tank! There are details hidden in the vehicle which you won't notice unless you take it apart, and of course we don't want to do that! Expect to go beyond the cup holder! We are looking forward to this and of course we'll report back here on J.B. about it, so stay tuned!
Hasbro has revealed two new Star Wars action figures during Fan Expo Canada! The first reveal was Captain Phasma in The Vintage Collection and the second reveal was Dryden Voss in The Black Series 6" line. Both figures will be out next year, have a look at the press images below:
The Star Wars Insider, which is the official Star Wars magazine, features a small article about our favorite 3.75" toy line from Hasbro! The small article highlights the beautifully designed Imperial Assault Tank from Rogue One. Next time when you are at a newsstand, make sure to check out the Insider!
Hasbro has announced that Princess Leia in Boushh disguise is coming to The Vintage Collection in 2019. The figure will have a removable helmet and additional accessories, and it will feature the photo real face printing technology.
Another figure which Hasbro announced was Han Solo in Mimban (Mudtrooper) outfit for The Black Series 6" line.
Thank you to Rafael Pineda for live streaming the panel to our Toy Run Facebook group. We'll provide images once we get some good shots!
The organizers of the Noris Force Con in Germany have announced that there will be three Hasbro convention exclusives available at their event. So far two of the three have been announced while the third exclusive is going to be announced in the near future.
The first exclusive is the Doctor Aphra Comic Set 3-Pack which was available at San Diego Comic Con in the United States. This time however the packaging will look quite different with several different languages on the front of the box. The figures will be the same however, a price has not been announced yet.
The second exclusive will be the Han Solo Exogorth Escape set, which was also previously available at San Diego Comic Con in the United States. The packaging looks identical but the back will likely be updated in multiple different languages. A price has not been announced yet.
Exclusives will only be sold at the show and will not be available online afterwards. Even though those figures are exclusive to the convention in Germany, there is a good chance that they will be available at other conventions in Europe over the coming months. Hasbro will have two representatives at the show holding a panel and a Q&A with attendees about their Star Wars toy line. Noris Force Con will be held from September 21 - 23rd 2018 in Fürth, Germany. You can follow Noris Force Con on Facebook for more information.
You can now find Hasbro's 3.75" Vintage Collection Doctor Aphra, 0-0-0 and BT-1 in the database.
Here is a rundown of what we have learned from Hasbro's San Diego Comic Con 2018 panel, plus images sent to us by Toy Run listener (a weekly podcast which we produce) Rob Paladino (thanks Rob!) and links to official press releases sent to us by Hasbro, and a closer look at Hasbro's fantastic San Diego Comic Con exclusives this year.
The Vintage Collection 3.75"
In 2019 Hasbro will use their Photo Real face printing technology on The Vintage Collection figures. This is exciting news and means much more accurate faces and good-bye bad paint apps! Hasbro has confirmed some new figures for 2019 and how many per months they'll release. The current release schedule for The Vintage Collection looks like this:
Steve Evans, Design Director at Hasbro, has answered some fan questions on the Hasbro Pulse Instagram account. Back in April we asked all those questions and we are glad that the team at Hasbro listens to the fan community and keeps improving their Star Wars action figure line based on fan feedback. Thank you!
You can watch the video below, read our improvement suggestions with images, or follow Hasbro Pulse on Instagram (-> we are on Instagram too by the way, please follow).

The set will cost a whopping $50 (we are not kidding!) and will exclusively be sold at San Diego Comic Con 2018. A limited number of sets will be made available through HasbroToyShop.com after the show, but those typically sell out in a matter of minutes. You can read the entire story on Io9.com

In addition it features a look at how Hasbro built the Barge, including the dimensions and 3D renderings.
This is a fantastic companion piece to the actual Sail Barge and a great collector item. Unfortunately we can't share more images with you due to the copyright.

Just in time for the return of Hasbro's The Vintage Collection, FigureShield has released their brand new ST-69 clamshells for standard 6x9 carded figures. Those clamshells fit any and all 6x9" cardded figures that have bubbles that don't go all the way to the bottom of the card, so they fit all vintage Kenner figures, The Vintage Collection, Disney's Droid Factory figures, Funko ReAction figures, GI Joe, and more. FigureShield is working on a new design which will fit Revenge Of The Sith and Clone Wars figures where the figure's bubble goes to the bottom of the card, and we will update you here once those have been released. For now however, it's all about the ST-69 clamshells which will protect The Vintage Collection figures!

We have some exciting news to announce! The Hasbro Star Wars design team would love to hear your thoughts about what figures, vehicles, creatures, and playset environments you want to see in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection in the future.
There are so many to choose from in the Star Wars galaxy, and chatting with fans at conventions has inspired many of our new products. However, since not everyone can attend conventions, we wanted a more inclusive way to connect with you and hear your ideas.
So we are pleased to announce the launch of STAR WARS: THE VINTAGE… CONVERSATION!
Every day this week, starting Monday, February 26, we will be posting a question on the Hasbro Pulse Instagram page relating to the development of the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection product line. Simply share your thoughts and ideas in the comment section for each day’s question.
Be sure to check back throughout the week so you can share your thoughts on a variety of topics related to The Vintage Collection. At the end of the week, we will collect all your answers and share them with the rest of the design team.
Make sure you spread the word! And remember… posting your answers on the Hasbro Pulse Instagram page is the best way to have your thoughts taken into consideration.
We look forward to hearing from you. May the Force be with you!

Here is Hasbro's press release about the Sail Barge:
HASBRO is constantly working to create innovative and exciting new products that cater to the unique needs of consumers and fans. In 2018, we take that pledge one step further with the launch of HASLAB!
Announced at this year’s Toy Fair, HASLAB is Hasbro’s new platform that hopes to put dream products into the hands of fans. To that end, we’re excited to announce that the first HASLAB item is the biggest Star Wars vehicle Hasbro and Kenner have ever produced – fan favorite JABBA’S SAIL BARGE! Measuring approximately 4 feet long, this large scale, highly detailed item features premium deco and vintage packaging. An incredible addition to any collection, Jabba’s Sail Barge comes complete with exquisitely-detailed and fan accessible interior/exterior decks, one Jabba the Hutt 3.75-inch scale figure, two soft-cloth fabric sails, and other realistic features that mimic one of the most notorious vehicles in the Star Wars universe.
HASLAB takes inspiration from other platforms by inviting participants to support the product by backing the project up front by placing a pre-order. You’re our only hope to make Jabba’s Sail Barge a reality! For Jabba’s Sail Barge to go into production, Hasbro must meet a certain minimum threshold of 5,000 pre-orders. It’s up to the fans to support the campaign and help successfully reach that goal by 11:59pm ET on April 3rd, 2018. Those who pre-order the item will also receive “Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna): Behind The Workbench,” a premium, 64-page booklet that goes behind the scenes of the design and development of the actual Sail Barge film set piece and Hasbro toy and includes set photos, product blueprints, interviews, and more.
Starting today, fans can place a pre-order for Jabba’s Sail Barge at HASBRO.COM/HASLAB. If the goal is met, the product will go into production. For more information on HASLAB and to follow the project’s progress throughout the 45 day pre-order window, visit HASBRO.COM/HASLAB and follow @HasbroPulse on social media.
Fans of Hasbro's Star Wars action figure line have been campaigning for a full 3 3/4" compatible Jabba's Sail Barge vehicle for more than a decade. Today, Hasbro has announced a new initiative which might make this dream come true! This is truly the best news we've received in many years when it comes to Hasbro's Star Wars toy line and we'd like to say thank you to Steve Evans and his Star Wars team for finding a way to give fans a shot at this incredible vehicle.

Hasbro held a panel during San Diego Comic Con on Friday, July 21 2017 and here is what we learned from it:
CHOOSE WHICH CHARACTER JOINS THE VINTAGE COLLECTION IN HASBRO'S STAR WARS FAN FIGURE VOTE, LAUNCHING TODAY!
As revealed today at Hasbro’s Star Wars Celebration Orlando panel, the 3.75-inch Vintage Collection is back in 2018. And they want you to decide which character will be next to join the fan-favorite line!
Kicking off today is Hasbro’s Star Wars Fan Figure Vote, where you’ll get to vote for your favorite hero, villain, droid, or alien that has yet to be made into an action figure. It could be anyone — from Doctor Aphra of Marvel’s comics to Klik-Klak from Star Wars Rebels. (And remember, the world still needs a Tonnika action figure!)
First-round voting in Hasbro’s initiative will take place at Star Wars fan sites from today, April 15-April 19; after voting closes, the top picks from each site will be entrants in a final poll at StarWars.com, which will run from April 26-30. The winner will be announced at a later date.
TYPE THE NAME OF THE CHARACTER YOU WANT TO BE MADE INTO A 3.75" SUPER ARTICULATED STAR WARS FIGURE INTO THE COMMENTS. LIKES WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
ONE VOTE ONLY.
